I hope you enjoy the new videos. It seems they come in waves and I uploaded 3 more so make sure you check them all out. Claire is hysterical lately - besides clapping, her newest trick is sticking her tongue out (thank you Andrea!). She still isn't interested in crawling and the only time she gets her butt off the ground is when is lying on the bed. You can see it in one of the videos. When sitting up, she just scoots herself around in circles to get what she wants. On her stomach, she will play and reach, but doesn't ever roll over while playing, no interest at all. She stands up holding onto two fingers and will take a couple steps. Maybe she will walk before crawling. She still takes a pacifier but only to fall asleep. She doesn't look for it in the middle of the night, and we never give it to her during the day. And did I mention she still has no teeth?
We had a great weekend. Friday night David and Donna were here so we went to dinner with Grandma and Andrea. Claire was a trooper considering we didn't even sit down at the restaurant until 9:15. She just played and loved eating the pasta. Friday night she had a sleepover with Grandma and Andrea. Saturday we were in the city for Williams Christening and got to spend some more time with family. Sunday we took Claire to the Bronx Zoo. She seemed interested, but definitely enjoyed looking at the fish. She did great for being outside on a 90 degree day. This weekend Claire and Mommy are having a girls weekend while Dan take a trip to Hilton Head.
It is hard to believe Claire is already 10 months old. This weekend, for the first time, we put her in pajamas without feet. She looked so big, but adorable (not that I am partial or anything!). Next week we head to the doctor for her check up - we are interested to see how much she has grown! Be sure to check back for the stats.Comments:Andrea: You should put up a video of her sticking her tongue out or her flopping back on the bed - its hysterical! Maybe I'll try to take on Thursday so leave the camera!beth: miller didn't get his first tooth until after his first birthday so no worries there.Meredith: And Claire is no longer interested in eating baby good - dinner last night - grilled cheese, and tonight macaroni and cheese and corn. She loves to feed herself now. I guess no more making baby food for her :-(Add a comment:

I added a few videos for everyone. Don't worry - I left out the one where Dan and I were watching Claire clap and she fell over on the changing table and hit her head on the wall...oops! She was fine, but the video ended with Dan saying oh sh!t.
This past weekend we took a trip to Maryland and Claire had a good time. We went swimming Saturday and she loved it - kicking like a crazy woman. I can't wait for summer to be here.Comments:Add a comment:

We had a wonderful Easter, and I hope you did as well. Last Thursday we headed up to Ohio to spend Easter with Dans family and introduce Claire to her great grandparents. Everyone had a wonderful time. Claire was a trooper and well behaved for the trip. I thinks he especially enjoyed playing with her cousin Gretchen.
She had her first experience with mashed potatoes and possible wore more than she ate. Claire also ate a ton of raisin bread and loved it. Surprisingly enough, she takes little bites and doesn't try to shove the whole piece in her mouth. Claire also has a new trick - she claps! All of a sudden on Easter I look over and there is Claire, clapping away - and I am not sure she has stopped since. We got her all dressed up for Easter (I will try to post pictures tonight!), and she was well beheved during church, unless you consider consistently throwing her Easter egg misbehaving.
Claire also experienced her first baseball game. Saturday we got tickets to the Indians, and although the actual game wasn't the greatest, she still had a good time and she slept for almost 4 innings!
That's about it for now. When I picked up Claire for daycare yesterday they told me she took a step while holding onto the ladies hands. Maybe Claire will skip crawling, she doesn't seem too interested.
