We are finally getting CHS' things put together and settled in the house. After a nice weekend in Massachusetts celebrating Dans birthday, we packed up on Monday and headed back to NJ with a full car! We rented an SUV so we would have room for everything, but luckily Andreas car and my parents car were available for more space. After about 7 trips up and down the stairs on Monday night, Dan got everything into the house!

Andrea brought a few more things on Wednesday when she came to pick me up for graduation. Little Miss Snider was very well behaved during the ceremony. We waddled across stage together to get this Masters Degree. It was a great day!

Today Grandma helped me get things settled in the nursery. I have been doing lots and lots of CHS' laundry to make sure everything is ready for her heiness when she arrives. We are in good shape, but have more work to do tomorrow. You can check out new pictures of the nursery in the photo album.

That's about it for now. Mommy is still feeling pretty good. No problems sleeping at night and still getting around well. The clock is ticking....any guesses on when she will decide to arrive?

I had another doctors appointment this afternoon and everything is progressing wonderfully! She still has a nice strong heartbeat and my blood pressure was excellent. I am measuring right on for size and even thought I may look small, it is only because I am carrying so long - the doctor mentioned it again today. This means CHS really loves to hang out high in my ribs and stick her little butt out - it is pretty cute, but not the most comfortable at times! You will be happy to know that I did put on 2 pounds, making my total weight gain 15 lbs. And, for those of you that are interested - my cervix is still closed but soft and 50% effaced. Apparently this is normal for 35 weeks.

Saturday morning we head to Massachusetts for Dans birthday and my parents anniversary. We plan to get all CHS' clothes washed and pack the car up with everything we need! Hopefully she will decide to give us time to unpack and get things ready before she makes her debut! Let's keep our fingers crossed...

Can you believe that I am now in my last week of work? I can not believe how quickly the time has flown by! Luckily, I am still feeling pretty good. I had to stop taking spin class, which is disappointing, but I just couldn't lean over to hold the handlebars anymore. I learned this the hard way in class Tuesday!

Little Miss Snider now loves to push her little butt up into my chest. It is really weird when she does it and the top of my stomach gets really hard. Surely she is running out of room in there. We head back to the doctor on Wednesday and then weekly from that point forward. This weekend we are heading to Massachusetts to pick up all of CHS' things. Hopefully this will give me plenty of things to do once I start my leave - like set up the nursery!

My first week off from work should be fun filled because I am graduating on Wednesday the 28th - can you believe it? Mommy is getting her Masters! :-)

That's it for now - I will update tonight with the latest picture. I feel like I am getting bigger and bigger everyday, but you can be the judge of that one. Have a great week!

Meredith:  I hope she doesn't decide to come too early, we still need a little time to prepare. And, of course Dan is helping with everything!
Don:  Yep... Surely bigger, but you look great. Hopefully, you have all the time available to set up the nursery. Littl Miss Snider may decide to be early and that would throw you a curve. That's what the other Miss Snider did and things were just barely ready. Get Dan off his butt too and make him help! He'd better!

Happy Mothers Day to all you mothers out there! We have had a fun filled weekend. We made it through eight hours of childbirth education classes yesterday. I can honestly say I learned a lot and it wasn't as bad as I expected. After that we met some friends for dinner and then I was so tired I fell asleep while Dan went into the city with his buddies.

Also yesterday, one of Andreas friends was gracious enough to help us out with moving some furniture around. Him and Andrea moved the futon out of the nursery and brought it to Andreas. They also stopped and Babies R Us to pick up our glider for us. We got the glider set up today - Happy Mothers Day to me! Too bad we didn't bring the ottoman back from Massachusetts.

I added a few pictures to the nursery album so be sure to check them out!

Everything checked out good with the doctor. They said CHS is an active little girl so we better start getting ready now. While they were trying to get her heart rate, she was all over the place! But, she stopped for a minute so the nurse could find a nice strong rate of 140 bpm. Weight gain in still looking good - I actually lost 1 lb since my last appointment so now I am up a total of 13 lbs. The doctor also mentioned that I am measuring right on for 33 weeks and carrying the perfect sized baby. She is head down, so all that pushing into my chest is from her little butt. Back to the doctor in two weeks - time sure is flying!

On the nursery front, we are finally done with the painting. Dan worked really hard this week to finish everything up and all the tape is finally down from the ceiling and floors! We moved the furniture back into the room last night - no more dressers in the middle of the kitchen :-) We also bought a changing table from Ikea and assembled it last night. Finally - storage space! I will try to get some picture soon.

I hope everyone is having a great week - the weekend is almost here! :-)

Wow - what a whirlwind it has been over the last couple of days. Where do I even begin? This past weekend was awesome. Dan and I head up to Massachusetts on Friday. Grandma Snider flew up from SC for the shower and the weekend of shower gits began as soon as we walked in. A few gifts to open followed by a surprise trip to the mall to pick out our glider (Thanks Grandparents!) - it was super-duper! :-)

Friday night was supposed to be relaxing until we gave my parents their early Mothers Day/Fathers Day gift - a Nintendo Wii! It sure provided a lot of entertainment and fun competition. At least I got some rest to prepare for Saturday. The shower was awesome! CHS got some wonderful gifts and I don't think she will ever have to worry about having enough clothes to wear. We are really grateful for everyones generosity and we can't wait to share all these fun things with CHS once she finally makes her debut.

Sunday was another get together for Grandpa Calnens 90th birthday! We had a great time once again and found out that CHS is going to have another cousin in NYC to play with. How exciting! :-) It was a long weekend - but well worth it to spend time with family and friends.

Things are winding down at work. I only have 13 days left - but who's counting? I went to a meeting at 8 this morning only to find out that it was a surprise get together for me and CHS. That was so sweet of the people I work with and we got some more wonderful gifts that are much appreciated.

We head back to the doctor on Thursday and then will spend Saturday at the hospital for birthing class - fun times!
