I thought we did so much better this month! Dan and I were convinced that we chunked Claire up, especially since all I hear from day care is "More milk Mommy, more milk!" Wow, were we wrong. In the 4.5 weeks since our last visit Claire gained a whopping 10 oz! The good thing is the doctor was not at all concerned and said some babies are just smaller than others. But she did recommend that we increase how much we give her in the bottle (to 8 oz) and also how much rice cereal she gets a day. She wants us to give her 3 tbsp twice a day and then move to barley, followed by oatmeal, green vegetables, other vegetables, fruit, etc... Everything else measured fine - 24.5 inches long with a 40cm head circumference. All I know is she is still damn cute! Especially when she screamed after getting her 2 shots.

After the doctors, she passed out in the car and slept while Dan, Andrea, and I went for dinner. Then the fun of the evening began with baptism class! So much for Claire sleeping through the class, she became quite the little blabbermouth. I would say she kept everyone entertained through the entire class. The baptism is set for Saturday, November 29th, noon at St. Thomas.

Claires first Halloween was good - she trick or treated around the Wishing Well Way neighborhood for a little while and then we headed out to see the aunts, uncles, and cousins. We had a great time and Claire was quite the trooper. Saturday she was spoiled all day with a collective babysitting effort (thanks everyone!) while Mom & Dad went to the Clemson/BC football game. Finally Clemson pulled one out.

That's about it....now go vote, Claire did! Twice actually, she dropped off absentee ballots with Pipere last week and went to vote with Daddy this morning.
