Don / Thursday, July 10 2008 02:22 AM

Congratulations and happy 4th; that is what''s left of it. Claire is a joy and you look great, esp for having a baby just a few weeks ago. We should have stayed for the bath, but Peggy needs her beauty sleep.

The Free''s / Sunday, June 29 2008 06:10 PM

Natalie was in the same position and I stalled at 8cm because of it. They went in and manually turned her (OUCH!). I hate that they had to use the vacuum but I am glad that everything worked out in the end. 2.5 hours of go girl! She is beautiful!!!!

Doreen & Terry(NS) / Sunday, June 22 2008 12:20 PM

CONGRATULATIONS.....Claire is beautiful. We''ll have to meet her the next time we''re in your area.

Andrea / Wednesday, June 18 2008 05:48 PM

If the doctor is wrong and you go in to labor this weekend I am going to be VERY upset!

becky / Wednesday, June 18 2008 08:26 PM

Don, that last part of your comment was terrible!

Yolanda / Monday, June 16 2008 01:58 PM

Looks like the baby is just like her mama, late for everything! Just kidding, Meredith! I was just checking the page to see if the baby came yet....I hope it will be soon! Thankfully it is a bit cooler this week! Good luck! XO, Yolanda

Lori and Natalie / Thursday, June 12 2008 11:13 AM

Don''t listen to them! Everyone thought I was going to go early...HA! With Natalie I didn''t have ANY indication that I was going to go into labor. One day I just started having contractions about 10 minutes apart and she was born the next day. Hang in there, we are almost there. I have an appointment in about an hour and a half.

Peggy and Don / Thursday, June 12 2008 01:47 AM

No worries. Dan was 2 weeks late and Peggy thinks Dave was 2 weeks late too. I say Dave was right on time. Anyway, all will work out fine. Have some castor oil when you get to the due date. This old wives tale probably won''t work. But the taste will be rotten and it will clean you out like a can of refried beans!!! You''ll finally be able to put Dan to shame!

Cindy / Thursday, June 12 2008 01:39 AM

Hi Meredith, Just enjoy the time you have now, I think she is waiting for Pipere to return, rest all you can....She will be here before you know it..Love

beth / Thursday, June 12 2008 01:26 AM

i was 4 centimeters are 37 weeks and still had to be induced. my friend was no centimeters and still went into natural labor about about 40 weeks. no she had a really long labor b/c she had a long way to go. but that''s ok. did they strip your membranes? ask them next time if they will. it didn''t work for me but it works for many people. there are also alot of "old wives tales" that can work. if you have any questions about induction, feel free to email me. i''ll be honest. hehe!

Uncle Ray / Wednesday, June 11 2008 03:48 PM

After all this tension I hope Dan gets a chance to get away and unwind. We pray all goes well for this memorable event. Love-

paula robillard / Wednesday, June 11 2008 03:05 PM

Glad to hear everything is going smooth..(well sort of) Andrea and Dan are supposed to take care of you ...Love Yu..Auntie Paula

Don / Wednesday, June 11 2008 10:12 AM

Coming right along. Love the pictures of the nursery and the cradle in the bedroom. So I need to understand where my room will be on trips to Asia and Europe. Oh, that''s why you got the new couch... Ha! Good luck with the doctor''s appointment today. Thanks for keeping us posted on the ultrasound yesterday.

Andrea / Tuesday, June 10 2008 08:44 PM

You forgot to mention how Dan and I double checked that you wanted to come with us before we left and you chose to come....we aren''t always the bad guys!!! Hope your appointment goes well tomorrow - Mom will be jealous that we are going to Delta''s for dinner - she loved it!

Marissa / Tuesday, June 10 2008 07:14 PM

The ultrasound tech''s word is DEFINITELY not gospel. After 2 extra ultrasounds they were telling me Emma was going to be a very big baby and she ended up being 6 lbs. 10 oz. Hopefully baby Snider will be a good healthy size, but not too big!!!

Lori and Natalie / Thursday, June 5 2008 11:38 AM

FUN!!! Hard to believe how close we are isn''t it? I have an appointment today at 4:15. Hoping they are going to tell me I am 8cm. hahaha

Cindy / Thursday, June 5 2008 01:48 AM

Oh my it''s so close... Can''t wait....Love

Andrea / Wednesday, June 4 2008 09:28 PM

If you''re done with the nursery put up more pictures already!!!! And I''m hoping for anytime on or past your due date so I can still go to the beach with everyone :)

Peggy S / Wednesday, June 4 2008 08:24 PM

I''m excited for you. Sounds like everything is ready. I''m still hoping for CHS'' debut is on the 10th!

Auntie Gail / Wednesday, June 4 2008 10:04 PM

My guess is June 24th 7lb 2oz 21 inches long and very beautiful!!! Are we putting money on this?

Meredith / Sunday, June 1 2008 01:07 PM

Dan & I were thinking the 24th since we were both born on the 24th of the month. Time will tell!

Peggy S / Friday, May 30 2008 06:55 PM

I''m voting for the 10th! (My birthday!)I don''t care what time. :)

Peggy S / Friday, May 30 2008 06:55 PM

I''m voting for the 10th! (My birthday!)I don''t care what time. :)

Meredith / Tuesday, May 20 2008 04:31 PM

I hope she doesn''t decide to come too early, we still need a little time to prepare. And, of course Dan is helping with everything!

Don / Tuesday, May 20 2008 10:40 AM

Yep... Surely bigger, but you look great. Hopefully, you have all the time available to set up the nursery. Littl Miss Snider may decide to be early and that would throw you a curve. That''s what the other Miss Snider did and things were just barely ready. Get Dan off his butt too and make him help! He''d better!

paularobillard / Thursday, May 8 2008 08:04 PM

Maryellen / Sunday, April 20 2008 07:17 PM

Oh you poor thing. I also had a kidney stone. After that labor won''t be so bad. You must have been very scared. I though Iwas dying when I had mine, or at least I wished I would just die so I didn''t feel the pain. Morphine is a great drug though isn''t it. Take care I love you and I am so sorry about your scarey experience. Love Maryellen

Lori and Natalie / Saturday, April 19 2008 10:34 AM

OH NO!!! I am glad that it turned out to be nothing but how scary!!!! Nothing like a night in the ER to make you appreciate your own docs. Sorry we are going to miss you this weekend. I hate that you are actually going to be here and we are going to be in Lexington.

Marissa / Wednesday, April 16 2008 04:22 PM

Don''t worry, it happens to the best of us! I can''t tell you how many trips we made to Goodwill before Emma was born!

Don / Wednesday, April 16 2008 10:04 AM

How exciting. The wash and ironing will be waiting when you arrive. maybe you can even get in some house cleaning Saturday morning before the shower. Then we have all day Sunday to clean up too. It''s supposed to be rainy so you won''t want to go out anyway. Hahahaha.... Looking forward to seeing you and Dan in a couple of days! It should be fun.

Meredith / Friday, April 4 2008 10:49 AM

I do feel her move alot, mostly during the early evening into the night. She doesn''t keep me up at night (yet!) and I have actually been sleeping really well, thanks to my pregnancy pillow! Let''s hope that trend keeps up. And, we love our doctors too - they are great!

Auntie Gail / Thursday, April 3 2008 01:49 PM

I just found this site and love it! Mere, your doing great are you feeling the baby move a lot now? I am impressed withyour doctoe that he gave you a copy of your records you have no idea how often we get a pt from out of town and have to track down their records especially on a weekend or holiday. So far he impresses me!!People really are nice to pregnant moms so enjoy! love Auntie gail

Lori / Saturday, March 29 2008 11:12 AM

Are you going to have any time that weekend? Maybe we could meet for coffee or something.

Peg and Don / Saturday, March 29 2008 09:38 AM

Sounds like a good report. Carrying long, huh? Sounds good to me. We''re headed to the steeplechase in a bit and there shouldn''t be any snowmen to build (HA!). Good luck on the test and we''re looking forward to your visit.

Auntie Maryellen / Monday, March 17 2008 12:15 PM

I think the little one should be listening to Carol King and Bonnie Raite. Nights will not be yours for a while I am afraid. ood thing Dan is a night owl. Love ya Maryellen

Megan / Friday, March 14 2008 09:47 PM

Her sleeping patterns will change once she''s born, and gets into a routine. Routine''s are so important. Billy Joel concerts coming. We should take the baby. That''s music !!!!!

beth / Friday, March 14 2008 05:31 PM

good call on not buying anything. i swear we didn''t buy anything until miller was a year old. i saw let others spoil you rotten and only buy stuff when you have to.

Andrea / Thursday, March 13 2008 06:44 PM

Next time I''m there CHS is listening to U2...and Dan is going to love it!

Stephanie / Friday, March 7 2008 03:59 AM

So exciting! Can''t wait to see the bump in person. :)

Megan / Thursday, March 6 2008 12:49 PM

See, I told you she''d start kicking soon. Now, in a few more weeks you''ll notice buldges moving from side to side, and those you can actually see. It''s the neatest thing.

Andrea / Wednesday, March 5 2008 07:26 PM

Maybe you should stop at Magnolia''s and get some cupcakes for the car ride home on Friday...mmmm

Lori and Natalie / Tuesday, March 4 2008 12:54 PM

YEAH! It is so fun when other people can enjoy her too. Alyssa finally flipped over (feet up) so now I can actually see the kicks. So COOL!!!

Kristin / Friday, February 22 2008 06:23 PM

Good Update Mere. That is exciting stuff. I agree with Don - You, Adam, and Dan should spend some quality time together at Babies-R-Us. Keep the updates coming. And pictures too! Can''t wait to see you soon!

beth / Wednesday, February 20 2008 06:06 PM

that''s awesome weight gain. i had a friend like that too and she popped big time. she never gained weight anywhere else but she had one of the biggest preggo bellies i''ve ever seen. she ended up gaining like 40 pounds. but that''s great. you want to only gain the baby weight and no other weight. i managed to only gain 30 the whole pregnancy but i gained alot of it quickly.

Don / Wednesday, February 20 2008 12:28 PM

Thanks for the info. Glad you got a good report. Dan, get off your butt!!! If I have to shop at We Be Babies and Baby USA, you''d better find your way there to register. And with Meredith! And this weekend. Get off your butt and TiVO the basketball games. And bring Adam with you for company. Meredith, be careful with that center of gravity thing too.... Only 9 pounds... That''s about to change drastically!!! Sorry about that! You''d better get Dan to start thinking about names too. You don''t want to start picking out names in the hospital. I still like Margaret Peggy.... Ha!

Stephanie / Tuesday, February 12 2008 01:13 AM

Congratulations on your baby!! As for the charly horses, I had them with all my pregnacies, and I found that if you lay really still it will pass. Anyway good luck to you!!

Megan / Thursday, February 7 2008 07:19 PM

I think I had just about everything covered on the registry list for Jimmy. I had alot of help from family and friends, so anything I''d forgotted was added by someone else. I will be sure to give Andrea that list for you, and hopefully it''ll solve all of your problems. Maybe!!!!

Meredith / Thursday, February 7 2008 06:38 PM

You guys are awesome, thanks for the suggestions!

Becky / Thursday, February 7 2008 04:49 AM

We were insane and did our registry all at one time. We were there for 4 hours. Just a suggestion, look at the smaller things online (you''ll want to pull out the strollers/car seats, etc and play with them to find out which is best). May save some time!

beth / Thursday, February 7 2008 12:37 AM

they should give you a list when you go to register of things to think about. it''s super helpful. but some things we''ve loved too are the bumbo or bebepod seat (not for a few months) and exersaucer (again you can''t put her in it for a few months). also consider a pack-n-play if you travel any. we love to take it along even to other couples houses when he needed to sleep. taht way we could be out past his bed time and he could still sleep. i''ll keep thinking.

Leah / Wednesday, February 6 2008 03:23 AM

Well, over the last few years my family have grown by 7... So I have some expereince with newborns and lots of baby showers. The few items I know you cannot live without and I have heard are real lifesavers are the Diaper Genie, pacifiers, cloth diapers for burping and quick clean up, a swing, and crib bumpers. Then you know there are all of the basics, diapers, formula, bottles, diaper rash cream, car seat, stroller, crib, and house safety equiptment... but those are all of the things you register for. I will ask all of my cousins who have had kids in the last couple of years, and see what they couldnt live without! If you have any questions or need anything, please feel free! I am so happy for you!

maryellen / Tuesday, February 5 2008 06:16 PM

You will definetly need diapers. I would sugest the disposable kind. LOL I have found both the swaddler and the baby swing to be most important for calming both parents and baby. baby sewat are nice but if you are tight for space the car seat works well too. The most important thing is lots of kissing.

Marissa / Tuesday, February 5 2008 05:18 PM

First trip to Babies R Us, eh? LOL. It will get easier! Honestly, the one thing I could not have lived without cannot be bought at babies r us. It was the world''s best swaddling blanket from I didn''t get Emma''s until she was a month or two old and it was PRICELESS!

Andrea / Tuesday, February 5 2008 05:14 PM

I feel like you probably won''t be able to live without the wee-wee sponge, even if you are having a girl. This recommendation comes from my extensive experience with babies.

Meredith / Thursday, January 31 2008 01:47 PM

Again last night I slept like a baby! :-)

Meredith / Wednesday, January 30 2008 07:44 PM

Dan / Wednesday, January 30 2008 01:03 PM

I think you got it wrong - she was being stubborn like her mother.

Don / Monday, December 31 2007 01:34 PM

LDS!!! Ha!

Becky / Monday, December 31 2007 02:48 AM

That''s better than Harry Larry!
